Ultrapure Influenza B Virus, strain Singapore, recombinant nucleoprotein (IBV-rNP) from S. cerevisiae, in glycerol stock
Description: Influenza B virus (IBV) strain B/Singapore/222/79 full-length (560 a.a.) recombinant Nucleoprotein (UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot sequence accession number: P04666). Expressed in S. cerevisiae and purified from yeast lysates by combination of chromatographic techniques and ultracentrifugation in CsCl gradients under native (non-denaturing) conditions to ~97% purity.
Form: formulated in glycerol stock solution (50%) in PBS.
Storage: Shipped on dry ice (shipment costs: 130 € to Europe and 150 € to US). Store at -20ºC in liquid form (solution does not freeze at this temperature).
Concentration: 1.0 mg/ml.
Purity: ~97% (including both major and minor isoforms) as determined by SDS-PAGE.
SDS-PAGE showing IBV- rNP product 14-IBSUlt-S11G at approximately 62 kDa (1 μg/lane).
Note: full-length IBV-rNP in yeast is produced as N-terminally acetylated protein in two isoforms – major (upper band; Ac-2-560 aa) and minor (lower band; Ac-4-560 aa). For more information see description of product 14-IBSUlt-S11L.
Applications (tested): Western blot, SDS-PAGE.
This product has not been tested for other applications yet.
