Recommended starting dilutions: WB 1/200-1/1000; ELISA 1/1000-1/10000. Optimal concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Immunofluorescence photos: Based on an indirect immunofluorescence test, monoclonal antibody B1S/3G7 (10 µg/ml) recognizes ancestor SARS-CoV-2  virus strain in Vero E6 infected cells.

Virus neutralization: Based on the surrogate neutralization test, monoclonal antibody B1S/3G7 does not inhibit SARS-CoV-2 Spike glycoprotein (Baltymas products 20-S2S-TCg-G and 20-S2S-TCg-F) binding to hACE2 receptor (Baltymas products 22-hACE2-DCg-F and 22-hACE2-DCg-G).

Additional info: This antibody recognizes the SARS-CoV-2 Spike glycoprotein. The epitope for SARS-CoV-2 Spike glycoprotein recognised by monoclonal antibody B1S/3G7 is located outside of the Receptor Binding Domain (RBD includes 319-529 aa of the Spike glycoprotein provided in UniProtKB sequence accession number: P0DTC2), as it does not react with the RBD. The epitope for SARS-CoV-2 Spike glycoprotein recognised by monoclonal antibody B1S/3G7 is located at 790-1196 aa of the initial protein sequence.
