Other Coronaviruses

Human coronavirus recombinant nucleoproteins expressed in yeast

Besides SARS-CoV-2, there are other human coronaviruses, which attracted more attention recently. We have used yeast expression system to express and purify nucleoproteins of some human coronaviruses from yeast lysates by chromatographic methods under native (non-denaturing) conditions. Recombinant Nucleoprotein constructs of three different coronaviruses are available:

• 20-S1N-ScB-F: Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) recombinant nucleoprotein (SCoV-rN) from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, frozen.
• 21-NL63delNN-ScB-F: Human coronavirus NL63 nucleoprotein C-terminal domain from S. cerevisiae, frozen.
• 21-OC43delNN-ScB-F: Human coronavirus OC43 nucleoprotein C-terminal domain from S. cerevisiae, frozen
