Western blot using monoclonal antibody 11H7 to Human Parainfluenza Virus type 3 nucleocapsid protein (Cat. code 18MAk-hPIV3-11H7), 5 µg/ml, followed by secondary anti-mouse antibody conjugated to HRP.

1 – hPIV3-rNP, Human Parainfluenza Virus type 3 nucleocapsid protein expressed in S. cerevisiae (14-P3N-ScG), 1 µg,
2 – hPIV1-rNP, Human Parainfluenza Virus type 1 nucleocapsid protein expressed in S. cerevisiae (14-P1N-ScG), 1 µg,
3 – S. cerevisiae lysate, 10 µg,
4 – P. pastoris lysate, 10 µg.

Proteins were separated in 12% SDS-PAGE.
Chromogenic detection was performed by 4-chloro-1-naphthol.

Immunofluorescence staining of hPIV-3 infected vero cells (Mosaic Parainfluenza virus types 1 – 4, Euroimmun) with monoclonal antibody 11H7 (Cat. code 18MAk-hPIV3-11H7).

Recommended starting dilutions: WB 1/200-1/1000; IF 1/20-1/200; ELISA 1/1000-1/10000. Optimal concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Storage conditions: This product is stable at +2 – +8°C for 2-3 weeks. For a long-term storage the antibody can be stored at -20°C or -80°C (avoid freeze / thaw cycle). Alternatively, in 50% glycerol at -20°C.

Additional info: The epitope for Human Parainfluenza Virus type 3 nucleocapsid protein recognised by antibody 11H7 is located between 437 and 446 aa (protein Accession No. in GenBank: ABY63596.1). The antibody 11H7 reacts with biotinylated synthetic peptide GEPQSSIIQY corresponding to Human Parainfluenza Virus type 3 nucleocapsid protein sequence (protein Accession No. in GenBank: ABY63596.1). It does not cross-react with Human Parainfluenza Virus type 1 nucleocapsid protein.
