Human Respiratory Syncytial Virus recombinant nucleoprotein (hRSV-rN) from S. cerevisiae, in glycerol stock
Description: human Respiratory Syncytial Virus (hRSV) A2 strain (the major antigenic subgroup A) full-length (391 a.a.) recombinant nucleoprotein (GenBank: AAB59852.1). Expressed in S. cerevisiae and purified from yeast lysates by ultracentrifugation in CsCl gradients under native (non-denaturing) conditions.
Quality: assembled in nucleocapsid-like particles (NLPs), which are morphologically similar to native viral nucleocapsids.
Current Lot EM picture: hRSV-rN preparation visualized by negative staining with uranyl acetate, magnification 89.000x
Form: formulated in glycerol stock solution (50%) in PBS.
Storage: Shipped on dry ice (shipment costs: 130 € to Europe and 150 € to US). Store at -20ºC in liquid form (solution does not freeze at this temperature).
Concentration: 1.0 mg/ml.
Purity: ~90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
SDS-PAGE showing hRSV-rN product 14RSV-RSc-G at approximately 40 kDa (4 μg/lane).
